It's fall.  It just rained.  It's cool.  It's sweater time.  All of this adds up to Twinkie getting his energy back to show off how tough he is.

Mom's Big Toe Unveiled

After 10 days it was time for the original bandages to come off.   Can your stomach handle what mom's foot looks like after surgery?   Here goes.

Go Mustangs! Go Blue! Go ... green? red? gold?

The cheer squad has two main uniforms.  An all blue version and a white version with blue tops.   Or do they?   Thanks to some trick photography, here's how Emily might look wearing different school colors.

Rare Performance Video of the Other Team's Cheer Squad

The Stallions of San Juan Hills have a cheer squad nearly as large as the Mustangs.  Here's a video showing how their squad gets fired up for the game.

Usually the squads take turns doing their routines.  But once in a while both of them perform at once.  Here's how that looks and sounds.

Mustangs Tame the Stallions

The THHS Freshman Mustangs stormed San Juan Hills by a score of 42-0 today.  It was an away game and the field is tucked away against the mountains with bleachers on only one side.  The cheer squads had to share the same side of the field.  When it was all over, surprisingly their was a 5th quarter (last photo).  Evidently for some games a fifth quarter is played to get some other players a chance to get some game experience. 

Selena Hasn't Forgotten How to Dance

Selena and her roommate, who was the choreographer, collaborated on a creative project for school. The finished project just got posted for submission.

Previously Unpublished Photos from Mom's Foot Surgery

Mom is doing very well after more than a week.  In a couple of days it's back to see about removing the walking boot and/or cast. 

While cleaning out the Blackberry, came across a few never before seen photos of her at the clinic and being wheeled out to the car.  All seems like so long ago now.
